Day 52- 58
Yes this post spans over two weeks of hairstyles. Last week with it being the holiday I took the week off of posting hairstyles. There was only two days of school last week, so joining them with this week is what made the most sense to me.
Day 52- Beans just wanted her hair left down (this has been her favorite lately), so we just used the flat iron to flip out the ends and she put in my

Ladder Braid
I don't know about you, but this braid reminds me of those old banana clips. Do you remember banana clips? I used to have a banana clip in every color. So honestly this braid is WAY more fun and beautiful than a banana clip.
I'm thinking of cutting back on videos and doing more picture tutorials again. I knew pictures weren't going to help with this particular braid, but for most hairstyles I

Days 47-51
Day 47- Dorthy Braids. I finally got the video shot for this one and posted it earlier this week. You can find that tutorial here at this link. Beans loves her Dorthy braids a lot. And I had someone on facebook share a link to the new movie Oz the Great and Powerful. Holy Smokes can I just say how excited I am for that movie. That's going to be fun!!!

Dorthy Braids
This tutorial is a super cute easy one. If you have ever seen The Wizard of Oz you might remember Dorthy's hair being done like this for most of the movie while she is skipping along the yellow brick road. Dorthy has longer hair, so this is a little different, but you could easily spiral the ends of the hair if you have longer hair to work with that we do.
Thank you so much for sticking with

Days 43-46
It was another short week for my kids. So we just had four days of school this week. Can you believe that next week we will hit our half way mark for 100 days of hair styles. Are you seeing any trends? Which style do you see us using most often?
Day 43- We just did our knots on day 43 and pulled them into a side ponytail. She was wanting a side ponytail, so we gave it a go. Its pretty cute.

Day 38-42
Its been... a week. This post was supposed to happen Friday, but I was given some bad news last week ending it on a low note that needed my attention as priority number one. Everyone that reads my blog has a family (or at least loved ones), so I am grateful to know that you understand. THANK YOU!!!
Day 38- If you remember we ended the week before with cutting Beans some beautiful bangs. We

A Swirl Braid by the 12-Year Old
Someone once asked me to post what hairstyles my 12-year old comes up with. She was at a Young Women's Autumn retreat and from the brief explanation I received before she ran off again was that they spent a fair amount of time doing hair. She did this one on one of her besties.
She started in the middle and went from there. Not to shabby.
